Israel is dwelling secuely in the land. The land of Israel that was established as a “Nation” in 1943. This follows scripture. It would happen. So as we see there is security but there is not peace. Peace was not a part of the prophecy in Ezekiel 38. We see verse 14 fulfilled.
Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In that day when my people Israel dwelleth securely, shalt thou not know it?
So there will be a great invasion of Israel in the near future. How soon? Very likely before 2023. More on the date in another post. So who is coming to invade Israel? The Islamic nations that surround Israel and Russia. Not all nations of the world will be a part of this upcoming battle, but a bunch of them will be a part. The Western Powers will just stand by when this invasion takes place. See Ezekiel 38:13 as a reference:
Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take the spoil? hast thou assembled thy company to take the prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take great spoil?
The merchants of Tarshish are England and the “young lions” are a reference to the colonies of England (USA, Canada, others…)
So these powers will only offer a mild protest. Art thou come to take the spoil? hast thou assembled thy company to take the prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take great spoil?
This is a good example of the weakening foreign policy stance taken by the USA and England.
“Russia, what are you doing down there?”
We have taken that attitude toward Russia in many other parts of the world. But God has a plan here. He will take out the Islamic presence from the world in this battle that will be a miracle victory by the power of God. This will not be a battle where the superior strategy of Israel or the superior technology or weapons of Israel, or the superior defense systems of Israel thwart the invasion. This will be an obvious intervention by God in delivering Israel from the hands of her enemies.

That invasion attempt and destruction of Islam will result in a greater worldwide recognition of God. The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. The God of our creation. The God that offered His son for our salvation. See the final verse in Ezekiel 38:
And I will magnify myself, and sanctify myself, and I will make myself known in the eyes of many nations; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
